එමෙන්ම මෙරට ජීවත් නොවූවත් එතෙර රැඳෙමින් සැමවිටම මාතෘභූමියේ ජයග්රහණය පතන, ජාතික සංස්කෘතික අනන්යතාව ආරක්ෂා කරන, සිංහල හා දමිළ විදෙස්ගත ශ්රී ලාංකිකයින්ටද මේ ලැබුවා වූ අලුත් අවුරුද්ද ජයග්රහණ උදාවන සුබ අලුත් අවුරුද්දක් වේවායි ප්රාර්ථනා කරමි.
பொருளாதார மற்றும் சமூக சவால்களை எதிர் கொண்டிருந்தாலும், இலங்கையின் நாகரிகம் மற்றும் பண்பாட்டின் அடிப்படை மதிப்புகளை பாதுகாத்து, அவற்றை முன்னேற்றிக் கொண்டு, தமது குடும்பத்தினர் மற்றும் உறவினர்கள், நண்பர்களுடன் சேர்ந்து கொண்டாடப்படும் சிங்கள மற்றும் தமிழ் புத்தாண்டு, ஒரு நல்வாழ்வு மிகுந்த எதிர்காலத்திற்கான காரணமாக அமைய வேண்டும் என்று நான் பிரார்த்திக்கிறேன்.
அத்துடன், இந்த நாட்டில் வசிக்காதிருந்தாலும் வெளிநாடுகளில் தங்கி எப்போதும் தாய்நாட்டின் வெற்றியை விரும்பி, தேசிய பண்பாட்டு அடையாளத்தை பாதுகாத்து வரும் சிங்கள மற்றும் தமிழ் வெளிநாட்டு இலங்கையர்களுக்கும், இனிய புத்தாண்டாக அமைய வேண்டும் என்று நான் வாழ்த்துகிறேன்.
I wish that the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, celebrated with children, relatives, and friends while upholding and carrying forward the core values of Sri Lankan civilization and culture despite economic and social challenges, will serve as the foundation for an optimistic future.
Furthermore, I extend my wishes to expatriate Sri Lankans living abroad, who continually strive for the success of their motherland and safeguard our national cultural identity, for a victorious and happy New Year.
